Stamp4Joy2 – Mini & Me…

Our story began many years ago, as we are mother and daughter who both have a passion for paper crafting and love sharing it with others.

For me, Christine, it all began in the mid 90’s when a friend invited me to a Stampin’ Up party. After asking what that was, I decided it would be nice to just get out of the house for an evening and so I accepted her invitation. Little did I know that once I held those stamps in my hand and was shown how easy it is to make beautiful cards with just a few basic supplies, I’d be hooked. So I completed my first order form including some White cardstock, black ink, Nice and Easy Notes stamps and chalks for coloring. I couldn’t wait for them to arrive, and once they did, I was totally in love!

At my friend’s party, I had also learned that I could earn more stamp supplies for FREE by holding my own party, so I made sure to take advantage of that opportunity too. Since I wanted pretty much everything in the catalog, I invited practically everyone I knew to my party because I was excited to share my new found hobby with all of my friends and family, as I was sure they would love it too, and lets face it, if I was right and they all loved it as much as me, I would earn tons of free stuff once they placed their orders!

As a daycare provider, I enjoyed a quiet hobby that I could enjoy during nap time each day (assuming the kids all rested), and stamp times shared with my good friend Janet. She started stamping the same time I did, and since I did daycare for her, we saw each other nearly every day so we could easily share supplies!

Years passed, and as my kids grew older and more independent, I decided it just made sense to Join the Stampin’ UP family since I could enjoy a discount on all of my supplies. So I signed up under Janet, who had wised up to this quicker than I had. She’s smart that way.

The generous discount has definitely been an awesome benefit to joining Stampin UP, but I never expected many of the other blessings that came along with this decision. God has allowed me to meet and build relationships, even deep friendships with many new people who share my love for paper crafting. Getting to see and purchase products before they are available to the public, earning many products for FREE, earning added income to support my family, attending Stampin’ UP! events with friends, and I’ve been fortunate enough to earn two incentive trips over the years.

Two years ago, my youngest daughter, Jackie, asked me if she could stamp with me. I was thrilled. So from time to time we would stamp together. But this year I invited Jackie to attend a Stampin’ UP Demonstrator event with me. So she purchased the starter kit (and I purchased her OnStage ticket), and we travelled to Lansing, Michigan together to get our hands on the 2020 Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration brochures. To learn more about this trip, check out Jackie’s first Blog post here. This trip was the catapult for her blogging passion, and a milestone in our partnership with Stamp4Joy2. We are so excited to share this joy with one another and know that we are truly blessed.
