Playing with Patterns – Birthday

Inspiration can come from lots of things. My inspiration for this card came from a pile of ribbon I had on my desk, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight. These colors are a great match for the Playing with Patterns Designer Series Paper. I decided to keep my cards similar in style but change up the DSP used to show off the versatility in the paper.

Whisper White and Night of Navy made up the first 2 layers of my cards. I chose to go with stripes and polkadot patterns for my cards, and chose the colors that would best match with my ribbon pieces.

To create my sentiment I used the Playful Alphabet Dies and Night of Navy cardstock and attached my letters to Whisper White cardstock cut out using Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
