Meet the Suite: Whale Done

Another suite that I was really excited to play with was Whale Done. I am a sucker for a good punny set and this one fit the bill! These adorable sea animals and the bright colors in the Designer Series Paper were so fun to play around with. I made 2 cards using most of the suite and I am obsessed with the way these cards turned out!

These rich colors really bring you under the sea. I love the variety and the mix of Calypso Coral & Blackberry Bliss with the sea colors of Pool Party, Pretty Peacock and Pacific Point. I mean just look at this color combo!

Check out these cards that I made! I really wanted the Whale of a Time DSP to be the focus since it was so cool! Along with the Designer Series Paper, I used the Whale Builder Punch to cut out whales from the DSP, I used the sentiments from the stamp set & the Pool Party Sheer Ribbon.

I love the way these cards turned out & they were quick and easy to make. I did some simple layering with my paper, using the 1/8″ difference instead of the typical 1/4″ difference. I just wanted the coordinating cardstock to peek out behind the DSP.
