Embossing folders can add so much to a card. Whether it is a small piece of embossed paper or a large layer you can take your card to the next level. Coastal Weave is one of our favorites from the 2020 Mini Catalog. This 3D Embossing folder is part of the Tropical Oasis Suite but it can be paired with so many different sets.
This herringbone pattern can be used as a basket weave, brick or just a fun texture. You could use it plain, or add a bit of ink to the folder then add paper for a little more depth to the pattern. Check out this trick from Georgia Giguere, and you can watch how she does that here. We just ran our piece of Sahara Sand card stock through to add texture to this Tropical Oasis card.
